What we collect from students
Only what's needed to run the platform - name, email, school (if provided), year level and study activity. We don't collect home addresses, phone numbers, photos, biometric data or other sensitive information from students. See our Privacy Policy for full detail.
Community feature safeguards
Student-to-student discussion is scoped to a class or study group, not open to the whole platform, and teachers in a class can see and moderate posts in that class. Every post and comment has an in-app report button that routes to a moderator queue, and direct messaging is restricted to people in your own class or study group - no messaging from strangers.
How your data is protected
Our primary database is hosted in Australia (AWS Sydney), with encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access so student data is only visible to the teachers and admins linked to that student's class or school, and audit logging on sensitive admin actions. Student data is never used for advertising or sold to a third party.
Right to erasure
Students, or their parent or guardian, can request account deletion at any time via support@reviseonline.com or directly from the My Account page.
