Why does the class average look different from the individual assessment scores I can see?

Modified on Thu, 27 Aug at 9:28 AM

Class averages include every assessment a student has completed, including ones they created and completed on their own initiative outside of anything you assigned. You'll only see the assessment-by-assessment breakdown for the assessments you or Revise assigned to the class; student-initiated assessments feed into the overall class and topic averages, but the individual attempts themselves aren't visible to you.

This is expected, and it's a good sign of independent revision happening - the average simply reflects a wider set of activity than the assessment list shows.
